You Drive

Sioux Lookout can
be reached by driving up through International Falls, Mn. After
reaching International Falls, Mn., you cross the Canadian border
to Fort Frances, Canada. You travel on Hwy 11 East till you
reach Hwy Junction 502. You then turn left (North) and follow
Hwy 502 to Hwy 594 and take a right turn East again where you
quickly go through Dryden to Hwy 17. You travel East or right
on Hwy 17 for approximately 18 miles until you turn left or
North again on Hwy 72. Sioux Lookout is 42 miles North of Dinorwic.
When you arrive in Sioux Lookout look for Slate Falls Airways
on the left hand side for a 45 minute float plane travel to
the wilderness outpost camp. |

Pickle Lake can
be reached by turning North from Hwy 17 at Ignace and travel
approximately 133 miles North on Hwy 599. Pickle Lake is 20
minutes by air, with Pete Johnson, to each of the Outpost
Camps.

Bearskin
Airways from Sioux Lookout connects to Thunder Bay, Ontario,
Canada; Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; or fly into International
Falls, Mn., and rent a vehicle and drive to Sioux Lookout, Ontario,
Canada. |
